Why does my Atronics alarm start chirping every time the vehicle is turned on?
Details:
Atronics alarms are equipped with patented UNAUTHORIZED TRANSMITTER ALERT technology. This provides protection against anyone programming additional unauthorized remotes to control your alarm system. Anytime a remote is coded to work with your system, it will make an audible alert for 48 hrs every time you turn on your ignition.
Since remotes are coded at the time of installaton, this is normal for the 48 hours following the installation of an Atronics alarm. If you hear this warning after 48 hours and you have not authorized an additional vehicle to be added to your system, we recommend that you bring your vehicle to Alamo with all of the authorized remotes that you want to control the system. We will recode your system to insure that only the remotes that you have authorized will control your system. |
